HOTE has had its own CAD design studio since the late 1990s. This is where our specialists develop virtual, three-dimensional design models based on clients’ requirements using the PC-based software solutions ICEM Surf and Alias.
All drafts are created in close collaboration with the client with HOTE taking on the role of a ‘broker’ and ensuring the requirements of the technology and design are perfectly matched during the course of the development process. The final CAD data already contains all the features of automotive design. It is upon this data that we base the production of a physical model in our workshops and also use it as a way of verifying and evaluating the design.
