Plexiglass: Using glass elements to attain the most realistic look possible

We run our own plexiglass-forming department for designing windows and headlights, where plexiglass blanks are heated using a suspended or thermoforming process in order to achieve the required curvature. Our modellers then meticulously guide the trimmer by hand or with our milling machines for each model. After incorporating all the details, the model is given a final polish before the glass elements are attached to the model. If specially requested by clients, we can also proces ‘real’ materials, such as aluminium and glass, to adorn the model with realistic features.
