Wolfgang Holzinger worked for many years as a modeller for Audi in Ingolstadt and played a pivotal role in the company’s vehicle design. It was in 1981 that he set up the HOTE studio for product design. HOTE remains an owner-managed family business to this day: the daughter of the company’s founder, Claudia Schefbauer-Holzinger and her son Marcus Holzinger also hold senior positions within the business.
Process expertise which inspires clients
HOTE sets standards in the field of design model making – through dedication and passion for every detail, but also through pioneering achievements in the design of advanced and sophisticated production processes.
Over the years, HOTE has developed an integrated process aimed at creating efficient and versatile solutions for the field of automotive design.
High-tech approaches go hand-in-hand with manual workmanship. Our specialists personally give all models the final touch after being cut via a computerised process. This means that every model we produce is an unmistakeable and unique specimen.
Claudia Schefbauer-Holzinger:
„HOTE Design’s approach encompasses all phases of automobile design which are then conducted in-house. Our clients enjoy the following benefits: we can always realise individual client’s wishes to the highest standard and on time.”
